For this week's discussion we sat down with the youth to get their input on what responsible spending should look like. As the teens begin to grow their sense for business and professionalism, we wanted to make sure that we keep a right perspective on the place of money in our lives.
One thing that thinking spiritually helps us with is realizing that money is not just an opportunity to buy all the things on your wish list; it's really an opportunity to show what kind of person you are. We can hide our inner selves from the people around us, but we can't hide our true selves from our wallet. There is perhaps no greater indicator of personal character than what someone does with their money.
